Cattle Country Gas Station

I see we have yet another gas station going in downtown westbank.Really expected more from the revitalization plans they have been promoting .Does anyone know what the rest of the space will leased as?

I heard it will be a co-op. Don't know if it will include anything other than the gas station.
Life is a banquet and most poor suckers are starving to death.

Last Co-op I remember was at what is currently Piccadilly Mall in Salmon Arm (there was both a grocery store & gas bar), that been close to 30 years ago.

Armstrong has or had a COOP on Wood Ave..the last decade or so.

As far as I know, there is still one in Tappen.

Nothng wrong with the gas station. It takes five years of remediation to repurpose a former gasoline site. They are doing something which is better than nothing.

There is a co-op in Penticton...and of course has a timmies in it.

I'm guessing they are trying to make a comeback (very popular out on the prairies), back in the the day one could become a member & get a discount in grocery (some had hardware & little clothing) store & at gas bar.

They just finished a co-op gas station in Vernon a couple months ago. They must be expanding.

No Costco on the Westside (was a rumor)............they are looking for land because they have outgrown their current location. Some rumors have the new location near the airport but as of yet no land purchase. And yes, were ever it ends up..........including a gas bar.
