Paradox
So our city council is adamant on building a Tourism Centre on a flood-ridden section of Kelowna's waterfront, and then cancels a very much loved and anticipated Canada Day fireworks display due to flooding?
What exactly is the message they are sending to would-be tourists to Kelowna?

As I've said in another thread, any visitors PO about no Fireworks for July 1.... sent your comments/complaints to the Mayor of Kelowna his email address can be found on City of Kelowna website.... I'm sure he will respond. lol

Vernon's info centre is quite visible to anyone coming from Kelowna - and it is lovely :)

It's located at 3004 39th Avenue - how is it visible? If you are thinking of the one just before the army camp, I believe that was closed a couple of years ago.
