^^^ first thing that comes to mind, was this the owners first launch of the boat this season.
If so does this boat have drain plug & after winterizing (last Fall) was that plug replaced.
If not that could be what happened
I don't give a damn whether people/posters like me or dislike me, I'm not on earth to win any popularity contests.

Not sure how long the boat was in the water but a damaged bellows will also cause a boat to take on water and potentially sink...or a drain plug missing [icon_lol2.gif]

Could be waves were CLEARLY breaking over the bow of the bow rider for 4 hours straight in PLAIN VIEW of the spouse. And the spouse didn't think important to tell him. It happens. Ask me how I know this.
I have learned that to be with those I like is enough.

Mine was in my negligence to not take the keys with me when I left town to
work.

Only to come home and find it had been drunkenly "borrowed" ran into the rocks,
swamped, painstakenly retrieved and placed back into it's spot before my return.

I HAD such good friends...
"Don't 'p' down my neck then tell me it's raining!"
