So where's that 6 inches you promised me last night? :200:

I had a blast playing in the snowy mountains this weekend. So much fun!

Got back from the airport at 6 this morning. No new snow. Went to sleep for 3 hours, and woke up to 15cm of new snow!

Alerts for: Okanagan Valley
Warnings
3:56 AM PST Saturday 17 February 2018
Snowfall warning in effect for:

Central Okanagan - including Kelowna
North Okanagan - including Vernon
South Okanagan - including Penticton
Snowfall, with total amounts of 15 to 25 cm is expected.

Heavy snowfall for the Southern Interior and Kootenays.

A strong Pacific low pressure system will move eastward across northern Washington State today. Snow is forecast to begin early this morning and ease tonight. In addition, strong winds and areas of blowing snow are expected with the low. Total snowfall accumulations for the valleys will range between 10 to 20 cm with locally higher amounts, while the high elevation highway passes can expect 20 to 30 cm.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.

Snowfall warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected.
