Is anyone else concerned. About how bad traffic will be in 5 years. Where are these people gonna work. I am doubtful they all cycle to work .

It will never work for everyone, but the logic is if you have a lot of housing density in an area where a lot of people work, those workers will be drawn to live in that area because of the convenience. Part of that convenience, is not having to drive to work.

All these towers going up everywhere. Lot splitting. Land amalgamations becoming six story walk ups. Not one new arterial roadway even being discussed.

That's probably the best location in town for such big project. Traffic corridors are there, transit is there, density where it needs to be, it's in the area that can use some rejuvination, it doens't block precious lake views like downtown condos, it's next to where people work.

Tell me about it. Sometimes it takes 15-25 minutes just to get from Springfield to Wilson Ave at 3:30 alone.
