I read one proposed cost that would make it double the current going cost - so not sure ppl just going to buy it from Govt approved vendors.
Even a few legit GOs have illegal ones.
Wonder if it is going to be graded like cigarettes?

If it's too expensive for some folks, then the government rules allow 4 plants per person. With the right cultivation and moderation that should be enough for most people.

First off, they had business licences. They went to City Hall and filled out the application and were approved by the City. So who issued the Business Licences and what drastic change occurred that the City then deemed it necessary to revoke the licence? If the original application information hadn't changed, why were the licences revoked?
Secondly, the fact that the RCMP haven't gone in and pulled the staff out in handcuffs and filed charges against them should tell everyone just how high on the priority list for "illegal" activities these shops are.
City of West Kelowna has a sky rocketing crime rate and they want to spend $$ on this? I am 100% positive that if the business owners are in their establishments, they are not the ones breaking into places and stealing anything not chained down.

I would venture a guess that the City has discovered some sort of liability of issuing licenses for illegal activities.
