What's really funny is, the offender is likely the neighbor.
How embarrassing.

Yep, I can just imagine the conversation at the dinner table.
Honey I did something really stupid, we will have to put the house on the market and move to a totally different neighbourhood or city.
When you have to start compromising yourself and your morals for the people around you, it’s probably time to change the people around you.

I wonder if she'll come up with the excuse that she took it for safekeeping. And I'm curious as to what she had planned on saying if someone happened to be home when she rang the doorbell.

Ya think.
Imo anyone who steals isn't well.
Some may be more well than others, but I don't think any thief is really "well".

i think fancy is trying to say ,she may have a mental health issue, or just another way of saying give her a break she's not well, but she is well enough to steal stuff

Someone was going to say it and obviously I didn't say anything about being lenient. You really should pay more attention.
Certainly didn't say give her a break - good grief people need to be held accountable for their actions as I've always stressed.

Wonder what was in the bag she was carrying - seemed to me she was trying to stuff the big parcel into it.

She waited to make sure no one answered before she stole the parcel. Prolly realized they might have a security camera. I like she has a hat down low when she returns it :)
Owner said it had been opened and the retaped. Hope they publicly shame her by naming her.
Gordon - that was a classic! lol

Fancy - maybe she was doing a neighbourhood round.
She will claim she took it home ( for hours and hours) as safe keeping. Being a good neighbour and all

Doubt it since the neighbour didn't know her, the package was opened, she dropped it back off when there was someone home yet didn't ring the bell and, best of all, it's all over the news.
