Do you mean "meds"? Mead is an alcoholic drink.

Something I didn't see mentioned yet is that closing these shops will push the money back onto the street dealers. It seems counter-productive; I know the stores are not doing everything legal but I still think it's better than grandma having to meet a 20 year old dealer in the staples parking lot...

Pretty sure the city is just after that sweet sweet fine money.
So much of the violent push-back on everything progressive and reformist comes down to: I can see the future, and in this future I am not the centre of the universe and master of all that I survey, therefore this future must be resisted at all costs.

Some will be closed. Some will remain open. Why? I guess that some stores have connections. It's so Kelowna.

It sure was nice of the city to give street dealers one last big hurrah before legalization in a few months.

I had to have a chuckle at the big pile of homegrown someone left on the sidewalk on Hwy 33 today. I guess someone felt that fertilizing a tree with their clippings was the kind thing to do. Only in BC.

This pot legalization issue is a total mess. Prime Minister Trudeau may well be seen in the future as a total buffoon for the way this has been handled.

I've been meaning ask this a few times over the years. Why did pot users pick April 20th as MJ day, reason being is knowing who's date of birth this was & being associated with this as :cuss: hole monster.
