I cant see theft of the rental bikes geing an issue... itsxa bit like stealing a cop car.. who would buy it ?
Certainly no one would to resell it..
No market, no incentive to steal it..

Hell I have done that , afew times, with no helmet, didnt make me weerd..

The disposable helmet would have to be inexpensive, they're disposable.
Not sure how they would be after getting sweat or rain saturated.
I'll take the wait and see approach on this one. (Bike share)

Then I'll compain about it..

It simple, you dont rent a racecar without bringing safety gear.
Son if you halfway think about this, pack a helmet. .. easier to carry a helmet around than a bike and a helmet..

I was not thinking about myself, more the tourist type that may not
travel the World packing their helmet.

Since I live here and have several bikes I am not their target.

Be interesting to see the interest in this/these business ventures.

I just can back from a vacation in Australia. We visited Sydney where there are a number of bicycle rental companies. There are bikes left everywhere. We have also visited Europe. All the bicycles were in docking statins. No problems. It seems to me only the companies with docking stations should be permitted.

I get that but it's just like boat rentals, people choose not to follow the rules, part of it is they are going thru the process of natural selection.
