It shut down in 2012...6 yrs ago. Meanwhile city hall is busy with complaints!

“It is an ugly eyesore, that’s for sure,” said Albert Weisstock of Witmar Holdings.

The company would like to consolidate the 0.4-hectare site with another adjacent property it owns and redevelop the expanded lot. But if it does, the Ministry of Highways might take away the Harvey Avenue access, Weisstock says.

“It’s a very valuable access, so that’s a real dilemma for us,” Weisstock said. “We’re still in talks with the ministry. Time will tell.”
