Gordon area I did, they didn't do too much but cover the sidewalk in mud and dirt.

I saw a sweeper on Baron Road, heading north, kicking up a dust storm on tuesday.

Oooh fantastic !

The complaining of snow removal is over, so let us move onto complaining about the street sweeping !!

Can we change and complain about the residents who don't relocate their vehicles when they have adequate warning the sweepers will be in their neighbourhood please ?

Maybe the ultimate solution is no more snow plowing or street sweeping and let everyone fend for themselves ? :smt045

Operations said they'd be starting this week but it was not going to be much yet ... supposed to call in the contractors by the end of the month and then start in earnest ...

That's probably really high mileage for a street sweeper. Ready for the scrap yard.

You guys have to stop posting links to the sweepers for sale ... I can't stop thinking of how to present the idea to my wife to let me buy one ...

I'd do my street twice a week I owned one :) They will come, be glad to be rid of the sand.. which basically kept the curbs slip free as they always sanded here, then plowed.
Saw them out on Spall yesterday

About 13 years ago I was living Kamloops, and the street sweepers were out in full force in mid-February. Then it snowed in early March, and they had to sand the roads again. Funny.
