Id really enjoy that news!

That news would just add to the Conspiracy Theory thread.
Why not include the Ogopogo sightings? After all, the Okanagan Lake extends from Penticton to Vernon. It is a very large lake, it covers 351 sq. Kms and is directly connected to Skaha Lake that covers 20 sq. Kms.

Two creatures reign supreme in Canadian monster mythology. One is the Ogopogo, a 15-metre-long lake monster that devours animal sacrifices made by people seeking safe passage across British Columbia’s Lake Okanagan. The other is the Sasquatch, a hairy three-metre-tall, 300-kilogram man of the woods that has been spotted in forests across the country since the early 1800s.

There are some real and recent photos of Ogopogo, you can view them here:

Ogopogo too! Sure, why not.

Although, I can say with absolute certainty that Sasquatch is not a myth and is in fact a part of our local wilderness landscape.

Dogman and Ogopogo would suit the conspiracy section
