I traveled that road daily for twelve years and saw lots of deer, dead and alive. I also know that if you're not doing 120 by then someone will run your as_ over.

Baloney - I drive at 10km/h over the limit on that stretch daily and the cars that do pass you are at a bit higher rate of speed. Hardly having "your as_ run over".

There is nothing in the article that says the other truck driver that the reckless driver also hit saw a deer.
I imagine his insurance would be void if it is found that he was excessive speeding and driving recklessly? If that doesn't void your insurance then there is something wrong with ICBC.
Its up to the police to decide who is telling the truth.

There are a lot of deer on that stretch of highway. Fun fact, also bear. One of my offspring hit one with her truck when coming back from Armstrong drive in late at night. Totaled her truck, RCMP had to put down the very injured bear.
