Re: Hockey Dorm hits financial hurdle
Has there been any resolution to this mess?
If memory serves me, there were liens against the property by contractors who had started work on the site because City Council was on board with the project.
What happened to the $50,000 deposit? There was talk that the so-called 'Developer' had come up with the deposit money by promoting a hockey tournament in Europe, which never took place. Were the hockey parents refunded their money? or do I have this wrong?

The last I heard must have been close to a year back. The city asked for offers to purchase but evrything came in too low so it's just been asleep since then as far as I know.
