Telus Optik in Summerland

Does anyone know when Optik will be up and running in Summerland?
I know that they are still running the optic lines, but is there an ETA on when the service will be available?

I have had it for a month. I live close to downtown Summerland. The picture is unbelievable.... very clear. The only issue is you can only watch one HD channel right now and 2 SD, which kinda sucks if you want to tape one and record another. But its cheaper than the TELUS SAT tv I did have. Call Telus and see if you can get in your area. I know they told me it wasnt at the lake yet.

I have had telus internet for 10 years in my area but yes my internet is the highest speed available now.


(I actually just checked my internet speed and it IS NOT the fastest optic high speed but between 3-15 Mbps. I get around 8 in my speed tests)

Telus internet has been up and running for years.. I just check and our area of summerland is not optik available 8^((
