New Developments

Anyone know anything about this future new hillside subdivision? Looks very interesting.

I wonder how long it will take for the Upper Wiltse development to get going. Currently there aren't very many options here in Penticton in terms of hillside subdivisions/lots on the market.

Not sure what you are looking for here Ogy, but I do notice that you had a very similar post back in 2010 in which you asked the same question about the Channel Crossing Shopping Centre .. what's up with the questions? You phishing or just a curious onlooker?? Just wondering where you are coming from on this that's all. Interesting find considering your post is from a Vancouver firm???

Hopefully both developments have quality design controls for the houses, that houses are positioned so as to maintain best possible lake views for all and streets are not excessively wide and even consider natural storm water retention. Also the Wiltse development factor in the cost to move the big power lines over the mountain, to the east, where they should have gone in the first place.

They won't be developed for years. There are too many homes already.

That's a new one isn't it? This one is for the Spiller Rd./Reservoir Rd. area while there was another fairly ambitious project announced for the Upper Wiltse area. Add to those the Sendero Canyon and Arrowleaf developements and it looks like a few people are pretty optimistic about Penticton's future. Now if we can just find them some jobs...
