Brad Paisley at SOEC

Post by Rwede »

Who's goin'? Got yer boots ready?

Should be a good high energy show. Hope he sings my favourite Paisley song:

wasn't able to go, but should be a good show. Too bad his opener had an issue but good show that he plans to do extended show to make up for it.

Those who are going, hope ya'll have a great time

The show was excellent. Thank you SOEC for bringing him to Penticton!

And yet another sellout at the white elephant. Dam all those people that came from out of town to crowd our streets and spend money here. I couldn't get a seat at Theo's until after the concert started. Went to Ishin, same thing. Dam tourists

What a great show! Kristen Kelly was a terrific opening act to get the crowd going too.

Really enjoyed the "guest appearance" of Carrie Underwood on "Remind Me." The technology of the show was top rate.

And, what a lucky young girl that Brad gave his guitar to.

Classy gesture. Same thing Keith Urban did at his show here last year. Did you catch that one Rw? One of the best shows ever at the SOEC.
Out of interest, knowing you are from Kelowna, did you drop any other coin here besides at the concert?

Didn't see Keith Urban, wish I had.

Saw Alan Jackson a couple of weeks ago. Will see Dwight Yoakim in September, and the better half and her GF are seeing Loretta Lynn in October, all in Penticton. Kelowna is missing out hugely.

We always grab a bite to eat before the concert, and I fueled up in Penticton last night too.

On the way home, the highway was basically a traffic jam all the way to Kelowna as hundreds of vehicles returned from the concert, and it was the same at AJ 2 weeks ago. I saw 7 or 8 people I know last night who had all travelled to SOEC.

Penticton is cashing in, most certainly! I'll support the city with my money in return for the venue investment they have made.

Was there a Carrie Underwood "cameo" there?

There are probably 500 people who still think she came up and made a personal appearance for the one song.

It was amazing. Technology rocks - it was like she was standing there singing. Whole show was amazing.
