Help with extended care facility choices

Post by woodlily »

Does anyone have any thoughts or advice on which facility would be a good or poor choice in either Summerland or Penticton for my Dad. He is in a wheelchair and needs total care but has no dementia.
Please let me know what your experience has been from either the view of a professional or a family member.Thanks.

In Penticton have heard good reviews on Trinity and Village by the Station from people who had family residing there. Am sure there are others but these are the ones have heard comments about. Could be a lengthy waiting list.

Yes,I have heard some good things about Village by the Station and know someone who moved their Husband from Summerland Pavillion ECU to that facility.

Trinity has been good for us and a family member in there.
