Challenge Penticton gets rid of two senior staffers

Interesting news this morning, though there have beeen rumours floating around for some time. Challenge Penticton has gotten rid of executive director Barb Haynes and race director Laura Carleton. They were both on 1 year contracts and were not renewed. Alittle surprising after the rave reviews at the end of the race. I wonder who on that board is really pulling the strings and why? Could be an interesting year for Challenge.

What was really shocking was that Barb Haynes got the position to begin with. This termination gives me more confidence that there are people in charge that know what they are doing.
