Re: Where are the swans?
I saw 4 of them yesterday afternoon!
Just out of Penticton heading north on 97.....right before that concrete building on the east side.
I've seen them there before but not for a long time. Was so pumped to catch a glimpse of 'em yesterday. :)

Oh cool. That's the spot the OP was talking about. There are usually 4-8 of them floating around there, every year. Good to hear they are back.
That concrete building is a water pump building, I believe.
It's actually the west side of the lake. But I guess they are east of you when you drive by them.

Re: Where are the swans?
Yep-east is correct because I saw them swimming on my way home to Summerland.
I love to see them....gorgeous, beautiful birds and quite often I look for them. They're always easier to see on the way home rather on the way to Pentiction.
Btw...thanks for telling me what that building was! I'm relatively new to the Okanagan and have always wondered what that was. Does it pump water up to West Bench and those 2 big golf courses???

Yes, they are back! I counted six in the spot mentioned in the posts above while heading home to Summerland this afternoon. Glorious.

Hey, look what I found...
Drip Torch - an upright and steadfast keeper of the flame, but when tilted sideways the contents spill and then our destiny is in the wind...

Terrific filming there Drip_Torch. Very nice.
As WW3 develops, no one is going to be dissing the "preppers." What have you done?

Traveled threw Chilliwack last Saturday, seen approx. 150 swans in the fields.
