I have not. I have, however, heard of deaths from poorly secured loads at a major hardware retailer in the US.

There is a auto parts yards on Stevens on the Westside. I drive by a few times a week and some of the stuff in his steel racks on pallets look a little suspect so I get what TT is saying. However the guy on Stevens has his product loaded on CPC and CHEP pallets. I have forklift experience and those are the good boards. Once a product is secured and in place, its not going anywhere. The dangerous moments are when the pallet is being moved. Frankly, if I noticed a dangerous situation as described, I think I would point it out to a manger or owner as a first step.

some people are so dumb it's pitiful

i pointed it out to three people. I told them a guy was climbing bins at a fruit Packing
place in Osoyoos. Her was "no one will be climbing there"

So I decided for someone that incredibly stupid - I'll discuss it on Castanet.
Which was good. I saved a life. I'm great.

Yeah I guess when no one takes the bait, and one has way too much time on their hands, tooting their own horn would seem fitting.

So you didn't save a life. Should have told someone sooner.

So you are starting to understand what we have been saying to you?

so you tell the people and they ignore it.

that's why worksafe exists. if worksafe says it's dangerous - then no one can ignore it.

and it's better to be safe than sorry. that's why I'm so great.

I can site about ten thousand cases of people climbing bins and nobody getting hurt, I'm betting your odds of getting hurt climbing bins is lower than when driving or riding in a car. Get over it.

You initial post reads as incredibly ill-informed, Proper pallet racking is made to hold loads many times what you state to heights over the ones you are concerned with.

Until you can come back on here and confirm that Worksafe BC wrote up a non compliance notification about the topic of your OP, you are not great. A more appropriate description would be delusions of grandeur. This whole thread is a classic example of troll and I would beg the mods to lock it rather than give you a platform for your delusions.
