Hell of a plan. I'm home for lunch right now, but my shop is quite a ways up the hill on the other side of the valley from the fire, should be able to get a decent snap or two if it's still burning.

The action was pretty short-lived. I just drove down the street a bit to get a closer look and it looks tame now compared to a little while ago. The smoke plume was huge, and that thick yellowy sort of smoke that you would associate with a grass fire. I got a couple of long range pics of the way it looks now but I don't have time to get them up. I'll do it after work.
