you know he was a good man until he did what he did he was a father of two girls a friend and a hero to his duaghter and she does read these things about her dad she sees every word you say what the world says about him and it hurts her and soon she will be one of those troubled kids because people wouldn't leave her family alone about her father

I do feel bad for his daughter/s, but that does not change what he did or what he was. And the worlds reaction to his actions will not change the child, his actions, and the help she receives will.
I dont care who you are. You do something deeply wrong, you should be held to the bright lights of society. And this is what our children need to learn and accept. I challenge you to count how many people you care for are alcoholics and drive a car. I challenge you to count how many people you care for are drug-addicted parents who care for children while flying high. I challenge you to count how often you have heard someone in your workplace bully, or aim a sexual joke at a fellow coworker, and you never said anything to your boss.

The alcoholic driver is a potential murderer because he operates a weapon while intoxicated. Drugged-up parents are potential murderers because, all too often, their children have access to their drugs and easily overdose. You, who knows about the bullying or sexual abuse in the workplace and does nothing, are a potential murderer because, many times, the target of the abuse becomes depressed and may choose suicide as an option when nothing is done to protect them at work.

I can go on and on, but, when you get down to it..... all of the above potential deaths can be prevented, and they are all caused by someone being ill and not in control of their actions. They all suffer from some sort of illness: alcoholism, drug addiction, sexual deviants, etc...

So, does everyone in the above situations deserve to be put to death or ridiculed to the point of suicide? I highly doubt, if it was someone you cared about that gone missing, regardless of what illness they may have suffered from, you would think the same way as you do now.

Take a look in the mirror and think about it, just for a minute, if it was your child, or your brother, your parent, your best friend..... if they were mentally ill and had gone missing, would you stop loving them and wish them death? Or would you wish them to be found and given the medical treatments that may help them? I'd bet my life that you would wish them medical intervention.

PS: I'm a sexual child-abuse survivor, so, I know where I'm coming from... do you? I also have had a very dear loved one disappear without a trace... have you?

Please...... think, long and hard, before you condemn.

i would not be defending him and im not im telling you and anyone who reads this he was not always like that he did not always have a mentle problem and i do believe what he did was wrong but he was also a good guy as well people do make terrible mistakes and they learn and i do believe he should of whent to jail

Thanks for the suggestion about the turkey dinner, Keith. But I'm already ahead of you on that one. I feed many a hungry soul who needs help without being judged or condemned for mistakes their mental breakdowns may have caused them to make. They've paid their dues to society, had their counselling and now need a second chance at life. I give them that. Everyone deserves it, even you. I'm hoping Billy is found alive so that his family can begin to heal and he can have the medical intervention he needs to deal with his issues. I find it sad, though, that your heart is so tainted by anger, but I do wish you a happy Christmas, anyways!
