Fireworks on July 1st in Vernon
I haven't seen any comments on the wonderful fireworks on Sunday night in Vernon. It has been several years since I bothered to drive to Vernon from Carrs landing to see the July 1st show....Several years ago there was a very short display at Marshall Fields that soured the event...(July 1st fireworks). If this years event has been the norm then I've been missing out. I said and thought several times that last night show must be over after a crescendo of beautiful bursts but there was more and more!!!
Thank you all that were responsible .

I missed them as well, but they looked spectacular! I found a few photos online:

I'm definitely going to catch them next year. Kudos to Kal-Tire for making them happen.

Here are my comments:

Fireworks Can Be Toxic to Humans
Fireworks Contribute to Environmental Pollutio
Fireworks Add to Worldwide Pollution
Do We Really Need Fireworks?
Beautiful to see though.
