Organic/grass-fed meat, milk, etc around Vernon?

Post by luluweezie »

Hi, new to town and not sure where to ask about farms or other sources for organic or non-GMO, grass-fed beef, foraged pork, eggs and milk. This forum generally seems to be more about current events & politics, which is great, but I'm wondering if anyone can point me to more of a parenting/health type forum that's local? TIA.

Hi there, try this link to the Food Action Society: http://foodaction.ca/- I don't know about a forum, but there's a searchable Local Food Map, and a Local Food Directory. And check out the Vernon Farmers Market every Monday and Thursday - http://www.vernonfarmersmarket.ca
