Need info from people living in Vernon

I would like to know what the MAIN street is in Vernon.
Maple Court can anyone tell abit about it,if you know.It is on
36 Street & 30th Ave.What's the area like,would you live in that area
Is it safe for seniors?

30th ave is the main shoping street downtown. Not familiar with that particular building , however most of the buildings in that area are primarily occupied by seniors. The Shubert Center is right across the street. Safeway is only a short walk away , as well as Shopers Drug Mart where there is a Canada Post outlet. This is a prime location for Seniors , particularily if you do not drive a car anymore.

Thanks for your info.There is a senior's building right by the lights.Would that be a very busy street?
I suppose it would be if there is a traffic lite,But then with a lite traffic would have to slow down.
It's just when they take-off from a red lite that it would be noisy.

Looking with google street on 30th ave. between 35th St to 40th St is traffic circle.... than just past Schubert Centre is flashing crosswalk light...... than at 30th ave. & 37th St (Alexis Park Dr) is "T" intersection with a traffic light.

Go forward thru the traffic circle you see in picture to first traffic light (not crosswalk light, past that).

From the map I posted it's little more than 350 metre's
