New in Vernon, ideal neighbourhood for young family?
Hi, we are new in Vernon and looking to rent in a good neighbourhood.
I understand East Hill is nice. Is Mission Hill a desirable area? I was told the area around the hospital is not very good.
Any input is much appreciated, thanks!

Upper Mission Hill is fine, although I would stay away from anything below Okanagan Ave. The upper area is changing for the better, but down by 24th still seems to have it's share of problems.

Personally, I'd stay away from 15th ave as well. We lived near
Mission Hill Park for a few years and moved away because of the noise and heavy traffic, among other things. We find the Harwood area much more quiet and peaceful.

I'm completely in favor of the separation of Church and State. My idea is that these two institutions screw us up enough on their own, so both of them together is certain death.

Thanks for the input. Is 21a Ave in mission hill in a decent area then? Quiet, clean and safe?
