I see GC is about caught up to tempaisians in voting? at one time GC was one of the best if not the best when Mike ng owned and cooked there.I t has been terrible for the last 3-4 years but admit have not been there in a year
has it really improved or do voters not really know what good and proper Chinese is?

Tried Kiki Gardens again.

Wow. Big change from the last time we were there. LOTS more flavour than before!
So I love the Okanagan but it's a place best enjoyed from atop a very large pile of $100 bills. - Spocky

PS: the best Chinese food will NEVER be at a smorg. I really hope most already know this. Now if you want quantity than smorg out. I have many times but I also don't expect the best food either.

We've been going to Temptasian for number of years now and have never been disappointed. Out of town family that we've taken there have been very impressed and its the only chinese restaurant we eat at. And I agree, if you want great chinese food, stay away from smorgs.

The Indian buffet at the Curry Pot is pretty good.

Are there Native cuisine restaurants that call themselves "Indian food"? I thought that was derogatory.

The only items your going to get fresh made are those not offered at smorg/buffet.

I understand, I wouldn't think that going to a smorg and ordering ala carte would be any better. I'm referring to a non smorg place. PS I love a good buffet too.

Nope, and should never be expected to be the "best", but some form of quality should be expected.
