Vernon program seeks volunteers to drive around slowly.

I thought it was clear this is a volunteer effort and pace cars aren't going to encourage road rage (moving over to let tailgaiters go by etc.). They will be responsible in a car accident like anyone else.

Either way it's a waste of time. If they want to make use of the public have us report texters. Anyone who drives much realizes speed isn't causing most fender benders, it's inattatentive and distracted drivers.

They always tell you if you are holding up someone who wants to speed then it is safer to pull over and let them pass.
Now they want you to do it on purpose!
