What, no comments on the sweet graphs above?
I ballparked it using 1 cu. ft. of water being 62.42 lbs. The graphs are sweet indeed, as usual you are a plethora of information.

I'm going to fill our old dumptruck full of snow & dump it in your driveway before you wake up.

Is it still coming down? I'm getting no reports on FB this morning. Oh, and is cell phone service dead up there? Someone thinks it is the snow blocking access to cell service.

Stopped snowing, it's just "foggy" now. But it was snowing when I was coming home from work last night. (around 2AM) There's really not much snow on the ground here - one or two sunny days & it'll be gone.
Cell service is fine - I'm on Virgin (Bell).
Time for bed. (don't ask lol)

It sure looks like you guys got it pretty good down there today. Here in Vernon we only received about 1/2 a cm of rain, but you go over 2 cms in places. The 1.3 cm at the airport is a new record for the Airport, and the wettest Oct 29th recording in Kelowna since 1909. Records began in 1899.
Check out this map Note: Numbers in cm, and any place that shows 0 cm is not working properly.
ETA: Aaaaand it has just started raining again.

Yesterday was the second coldest Halloween on record for most of BC from Williams Lake up to Fort Nelson. -20 in the Peace, and -26 in Fort Nelson.
By far the coldest Halloween on record was 1984. Fort Nelson was -28 that day, but parts of the far north and at least one place in the Cariboo were -36. Williams Lake was -29 in the morning and -14 in the afternoon. Yesterday was the second coldest Halloween on record in that Cariboo city and the extremes were only -9 and -6.
Unlike 2012, the Okanagan was not spared in 1984. The temperature dropped down to -23 in Joe Rich, -22 in Armstrong, -21 in Vernon, -19 in Kelowna, and -14 in Peachland, Penticton, Summerland, and Oliver. Osoyoos was a balmy -11.
Picture taken yesterday in Williams Lake.
