How does 7%+5% = almost 15%

I guess you didn't take note of the part where I said "previous high"?

I've filled out enough invoices to know that at one point in time I had to include 7.5%PST and 7%GST which to the best of my knowledge equals almost 15% as I'd stated.

Sure it's been dropped down since but when there are two tiers of government with their hands in your pockets it's far easier for them to jack up those percentages again.

I'll take a firm 10% HST any day over what I've seen added to my purchase over the last decade, thank you very much.
