yes she did but we have laws in Canada protecting children from these guys.
when you cant convince a grown up or when they judge you faster then you are probably lost with your peers.
shame the police will rush to make a big show of a child molester getting released from a foreign country and sent back here and ignore one doing it here.
i suppose thats why they say woman dont report rape for the fear of being called the instigator, shame when we look at kids that way.

Thank you. Now what will we do to change this attitude toward our children? Keep speaking out.

well the first thing is easy, men need to stop blaming women for being sexually exploited.
not really that hard, track down and exterminate anyone who exploits children,

I still don't doubt Anon was incorrect re their information.
It also troubles me that some people are acting like this is an ABC movie of the week instead of real time
And CA, you are being boorish - I expect more of you

right or wrong time will tell, hopefully the lesson of this entire sad story is dont judge a little girl for being conned by a sexual slime ball and track the slimes down and have them arrested legally and sent to jail.
its not hard to monitor kiddie rooms and catch them, we have the technology but do we have the interest from the government.
its strange the canadian government goes hog wild after a sex criminal across the world yet knew about this and others and lag and go slow.
i suppose untill its headlines the RCMP prefer to hand out seat belt and cell phone tickets.
what a shame.

I would love for the parents to see this Amanda thing tho and do more just because they can right at home. Next time your kid is followed by someone suspicious get rid of the accounts affected and dont let the kid back on those ones,,, name changes on new accounts would help. Why let them post their real info on Facebook in the first place, pics and addresses? Dont let them do that till they are living under their on roof. By then they have heard all you can tell them and they should know what they are doing or have a half idea anyway.

Report it right to the cops,,, skip bothering to report it to the school, they dont do enough either. Bust the bully! Let the cops walk into the school and take care of it.

Give them a cell phone if you must but basic rate and they pay for the bill, no internet till they are home on the family computer,,, this isnt gonna get any better and its probably not your kid you shouldnt trust, its the perv looking for them

what a shame.

Wow! To say the Canadian government or police go hog wild after a sex crimes across the world, but not so much at home is beyond ignorant. Give your head a shake, and don't be so judgmental next time.

lmao they just went after that teacher who arrived in vancouver with a great publicity show.
shame they didnt give this girl the slightest interest when some adult pervert was breaking the child pornography laws by sending it out.
no you give your head a shake, they dropped the ball and were lazy and now want to try and look good.

I have a friend who works busting child porn rings. He says there are so many child porn, you will never catch them all. You are right it is very easy to catch them, but you'll never catch them all. Not even close. Lots go under the radar, but lots get caught too. There's just so much demand that the war on kiddy porn will never been won, but at least they do get people locked up for doing it.

Police go for the big fish, but they don't turn a blind eye to little fish when they discover them. There is no evidence whatsoever that the police knew the men who sexually exploited A.T. If they had the evidence on them, they would have arrested them.

if you watch the video she states the police came to her house informing her that her pictures were being distributed.
as she was 12-13 i consider that to be child pornography.
i guess the question would be are the RCMP smart enough to track down a pedophile in vancover through his computor usage.
i think they should have the ability to catch someone like that and if they dont then its time to hire someone who can.
personally i think they were too lazy to bother.
lets see if they find the way to catch him now, if they can then they should and could have before this escalated to the point of a childs death.

I think with the cops and her family knowing her situation there must have been a protective situation she could have been put in,,, like the cops taking over her accounts to keep up on him and catch him, the new school and city thing that did happen but with no internet access for a while, also as I mentioned before, if there was gonna be internet access for her,,, different sites of interest and different names used like we do here on Castanet. Seemed she said they all knew but she was still on line seeing stuff and suffering alone, she "needed someone",,, does that mean she didnt feel anyone was truely helping her out?
Seriously it wouldnt hurt my feelings to deny a child internet for a good long while after they flashed, a slight punishment and it would have been good for her to take the timeout from it and might have saved her a lot of hurt during all of that time,,, ignorance is bliss, if you cant see whats going on about you in a situation like this while in a whole new town with a whole new life happening it would let you escape it and give you time to get your thought process back in order. Eventually they would stop because everything gets old. How did he catch up with her again on Facebook and renew the whole thing?
She in a way, IMO was looking for him too to see if he was still after her or she would have had nothing on the web for him to relate to her so he could find her again, not enough done after they Did so much is my thinkin for the day. If I moved my kid for the same kind of reasons everything about me and my child would change on the internet, wouldnt you do the same? Dump all of the past, dont bring it up in your new town and start over,,, totally new. It was a little mistake she made IMO but a huge price for a little girl to pay and she was wishing the flash had not ever happened. She suffered because everything that was done for her was only done halfarsed and she was followed by it no matter what she did or they did.
The internet can follow you but You Can escape the internet,,, unplug!

Certainly, you are entitled to your opinions - just others are also entitled to their negative opinions of Todd, but there is no evidence that the police were lazy here. How do we know that the police were not investigating? How do we know the guy in question is even in Canada?

The police have been responsible, unlike this Anonymous guy who posted the address of the so called 32 year old, but now it turns out he go the wrong guy and the wrong house. Meanwhile, the real guy has been given enough time to cover his tracks, while to police have been wasting valuable resources investing slanderous allegations against a 19 year old. The key to capturing online perverts is to get them before they realize the cops are onto them. Anonymous has been doing his best to ruin that.

Firstly "Anonymous" is not a guy, it is a group.

Second, do you have any links that state they outed the wrong guy? All I have been able to find are statements from the RCMP saying the allegations are "unfounded" and have hampered the investigation (which is no doubt true) but, to my knowledge, they have not gone so far as to say the person named is the wrong guy.
