...I don't think she got anything out of this marriage. Well, except landing papers and 2 years later a Canadian citizenship.

She is entitled to 50% of the matrimonial property..., which could sink the old fellows saving unless he liquidated all of his property!

That part of the law needs review!

I don't know how these losers always seem to be able to find vulnerable people that have no relatives available to come and exact an appropriate penalty. I think think they are real lucky they haven't prayed on some of people I know that would be very, very disturbed.
