That's what I said perfectly normal. Largest one since 1949 perfectly normal.. Those aftershocks are actually earthquakes.

Of course they are earthquakes. That's what we're talking about. When there is a big earthquake, the smaller earthquakes afterward are called aftershocks. Sometimes there's a bunch of smaller earthquakes then a big earthquake.

In any event, it is normal. Look up any major earthquake and see how many aftershocks there are. It's perfectly normal.

I don't think Nebula is worried. You can tell if someone is scared by looking into their eyes. If they give an emotionless constant star back, they are a-okay, but if they they start blinking rapidly, they're scared sshpitless.

Komp, None of us are worried. We've all seen many earthquakes give dozens or more aftershocks. I don't think anyone is worried that some govt agent is overdoing HAARP. We go back to sleep because it's, I don't know, bedtime.

Komp, why do you keep saying that? You are using conspiracy lingo to deflect or describe what has been going on for centuries, well before HAARP ever was a dream.

Nothing to worry about down HERE in the Okanagan, but sorry, Masset and Shearwater and Bella Coola and all the other communities up there just may have something to worry about.

Aftershocks are a natural phenomena. Are a seismologist? You work in the earthquake industry?

I don't, but I'm not implying that something man-made and sinister is going on with these aftershocks, are you?

Here is a link showing each of the aftershocks on March 11, 2011:
http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/ ... sc0001xgp/

Scroll down to last one which will be 9.0 quake

Here is a link showing 9.1 quake that happened December 26, 2004 along with all the aftershocks: http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/ ... ect_lg.gif

Definition of aftershock:
An aftershock is a smaller earthquake that occurs after a previous large earthquake, in the same area of the main shock. If an aftershock is larger than the main shock, the aftershock is redesignated as the main shock and the original main shock is redesignated as a foreshock. Aftershocks are formed as the crust around the displaced fault plane adjusts to the effects of the main shock.
A common mistake that people make when trying to design something completely foolproof is to under estimate the ingenuity of complete fools.
