Everyone has been passed by a greyhound in all sorts of weather conditions driving well above a safe speed. They have to keep to a time schedule and weather is not an excuse for being late. They do not have chains on as big trucks are required to and I do not believe they have winter approved tires on. They need to be monitored better by the police and the DOT. Weather conditions is not an excuse.

I recall the one on fire on the connector last summer...
then two in the ditch this past winter
then this other one.

That's 4 write off busses in less than a year.. how much is a bus? 250k?.. that's a million dollar loss right here.

I suspect insurance would be mandatory on a public transportation vehicle, so it's ICBC taking the hit.
