Nice to see them release it. The responsible fishing lodges ask that their guests to release these true kings in order to maintain the gene pool.

The problem with the gene pool is that there is no lifeguard.

Many of the pictured fish were caught on fly rods. My biceps are aching just thinking about it.

Certainly a resource worth protecting.

No King Salmon in BC, just Springs or Chinooks. The Americans are the only ones who refer to Chinooks as Kings. I know, a bit nit picky, but just sayin'. Happy to see that boot released to do its thing.
