Giving the time of day to a stark-raving lunatic is a complete waste of government's (taxpayers') resources. Vander Scalm doesn't deserve air time let alone any reaction from government. He's an idiot.

And some of those he bilked with the anti-HST scam who unwittingly gave the millionaire the PST exemptions he was looking for are perhaps too proud to admit their folly, and continue to follow him around, looking for a valid cause. It cost you $1.6 billion to help him get his tax exemptions back, and that must really sting when you sit back and realize that you were had.

Cause if you respond to every lunatic out there with some serious chemical imbalance causing him/her have some very strange thoughts about undercover overlords who control the universe with secret signals and mysterious chemtrails, it will take the energy away from other activities that better serve the society - like building roads, improving the economy, etc. Lunatics are dime a dozen these days, why even pay attention to paranoid schizo's. Let them put out crazy videos titled "OMG OBAMA EATS ANOTHER BABY, HERE'S THE PROOF HE'S THE DEVIL!!!", and discuss their "investigations" online. Entertainment for everybody, and gives them something to do. The only victim here is Google being overworked.
