I'm tired of zombies. Are they the new flavour-of-the-month?

But it looks bad when kids start shooting and stabbing each other in the head.

Jokes aside I hope they find a practical solution as opposed to the full no touching as it was an over swing even though "reintroducing appropriate play" was planned.

Makes you wonder why parents are letting their 5 year olds get "over exuberant".

Letting? If you throw a bunch of hairless monkeys into a group they tend to be over exuberant from time to time as they figure the dynamics out. I have a five year old boy and I see it happen regularly and not due to lack of discipline.

It's not the Parents, it's the Grandparents stuffing them with sugar and stuff to get even!

I'm sure you wouldn't let your 5 year old drag down a girl by the neck while trying to play tag. Some parents don't teach their kids rules of any game because everyone is suppose to be a "winner".

Of course I wouldn't let him do that but that doesn't mean it wouldn't happen in the thick of things.

Oh I hear you - I've lived through two physical kids who are now adults - they are both still alive to talk about it.

A lot of people must have stopped reading at "no touching", because they apparently plan to reintroduce it. Seems more like a sociological study than a legitimate policy.

Ever since I first read the opening of this string the name Coghlin FUNDAMENTAL Elementary School has been on my mind. Perhaps because the word FUDAMENTALIST too often identifies extremism, as is the case with many religious Fundamentalists. Perhaps someone with first hand knowledge would be interested in updating what has or is taking place at the school?
