One year into the elections...

Post by matai »

So, we're almost one year into the elections, what do you think of the governance so far?

7 out of 10 in a fair comparison had there been a viable opposition. 15 out of 10 compared to a Dix gov't that included 30 union brainwashed social justice incompetents. Seriously, can anyone imagine the task of picking a cabinet from from the talent pool the NDP presented? The thought that we were one Kinder Surprise away from that shivers me to the core.
What concerns me now is we are merely one charismatic leader away from that same talent pool. Perhaps we should call it the JT model of achieving control. Ability and experience be damned.....you just need a pearly smile and the right haircut.
Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

Those are rather simplistic comments. Do you think your MSP, gas bill, or electric bill would have become less with any other gov't in power? Would you rather pay an American price for your MSP premium? As to your gas and electric bills, perhaps you should direct your comments to the utilities commission because it they who approve rate increases. An NDP gov't couldhave legislated a freeze in rates I suppose but you would just be paying for it anyway in other taxes to cover the subsidy.

As to ferry service, if you choose to live on a rock accessible only by boat, pay the cost of that choice over and above the maintenance of a similar capacity asphalt road or move. Simple. If you can't afford it don't go there.

Hey Rookie ..... ALL my family lives on the Island and I pay to see them because I want too...

But if they didn't live there , I wouldn't...PERIOD.

Some people , like tourist, skip the best part of visiting BC because it just cost too much...

Imagine the provincial tax revenue they could make IF the Liberals price themselves ( and businesses ) out of business for going to the Island ...

You are assuming that people who live on a "rock" have chosen to do so. Another selfish I live in the Okanagan my world needs to be perfect because I live in the best place in the world with my government paid for asphalt and bridges attitude.
