72 million sockeye heading for the Fraser
great prediction, good luck on this preduction.. and now the americans are doing whaterver they can to get their share or just 36million fish... therfor letting absolutley nada to return here if the prediction is wrong...well thats what they really want anywayis the yanks to get them all. and thats what they are doing right now. good luck canadian fishermen. thanks for the prediction from the federal fisheries from ontario. who im sure have never even been to bc for anything at all and thanks again for treating bc as the enemy of canada ... what a joke

They count fish by using sonar.

Retention of sockeye in Marine recreational fisheries is expected to begin as
early as Friday, August 1. A separate fishery notice will be issued to confirm
details.
