Lol, you honestly think that if whites were allowed to protest and natives weren't there wouldn't be whining at the very least?
They say you can't believe everything they say.

You would be surprised how many "whites" are joining First Nations at the protests and blockades, zzontar.

No surprise at all, they would be thrown in jail if they joined an all-white blockade.
They say you can't believe everything they say.

(given that to this day there are plenty of bands that can't agree on which one has ancestral rights to major parts of the province, I think we know the answer to that question). Or did they live in complete harmony for all that time?
I still say, give all of Canada to one band or tribe. Let them fight over it and all of us immigrants can go in and collect welfare from them and sit at home until the next payment.
Without tax paying land leasers as they call us, what will they have?

Re: Another First Nations blockade
The First nations people are afforded more privileges and rights by the Canadian Charter of rights, because they were born here............. Oh wait!, I was born here also. Does that make me a "native"? When you start segregating or privileging people according to the percentage of a blood line they have flowing through their veins, you are no different than a Nazi.
Just take a look at how Chief Louie of the Inkameep band in Oliver/Osoyoos, has made so many outstanding changes to their land and people. He is truly an amazing human being. He and his people have created everything they have.

Voted Yes, they should be taxed (61 votes [74.39%])
No, they should not be taxed (21 votes [25.61%])

looks to me like the majority of tax payers think churches should not be tax exempt on anything. we all have to live the same right? lol love when people never clearly think through the thought they may have on one subject. might have implications for other topics of the same nature

The first people inhabiting Canada were the pre-Dorset, Plano, Clovis, and Paleo-Indian cultures that predate the current Aboriginal peoples.
