According to the book I just read called "The Year 2050" Russia has, by far, the largest LNG deposits in the world. Unless China wants to become more reliant on Russia I would expect that China will still have a strong interest in obtaining LNG from locations like Canada.

The biggest thing floating in the ocean right now, besides the plastic island, is a lng processing plant built by Shell to supply china. The fuel of the future is going to be natural gas, too bad its the worst offender for venting to the atmosphere. My opinion is its bad. I recently heard something that rings. We are witnessing the whole sale raping of Canadian recourses to export to other countries at the expense of our future for the monetary benefit of few.
