ROI Land Investments Ltd. Announces the Acquisition of Land
QUEBEC CITY, Quebec, Dec 23, 2014 - (ACN Newswire) - ROI Land Investments Ltd. (OTCQB: ROII) ("ROI" or the "Company"), a diversified real estate land development investment company, announces that it has acquired approximately 250,000 square feet of prime residential land development to build over 300 apartment units in Kitimat and Terrace, British Columbia, Canada. The estimated market value of these acquisitions is of CDN $10,000,000. Land development and all necessary permits have been approved for the development of these lands and construction is expected to commence shortly. Development for this construction may be found on our Company's latest website: http://www.roilandinvesments.com These acquisitions represent ROI's commitment and mission to become a leading land developer within this region.
As previously mentioned on our November 12, 2014 press release, in Northern British Columbia, specifically in the towns of Kitimat and Terrace, there is an explosive demand for housing due to a macro economic development derived from the construction of one of Canada's largest pipelines for the exportation of Liquefied Natural Gas ("LNG") as well as terminals and other points of distribution. The LNG Projects are estimated to be some of the largest private investment developments in the history of British Columbia and Canada.

Sounds like a great deal for BC/Terrace and Kitimat. A Quebec company brings it's money to BC, invests it in BC infrastructure, supports and employs BC residents to build the townhouses.........It's all good for BC and it's people.

Two days ago, the Premier of the Canadian province of British Columbia (BC), Christy Clark, was in India and during her visit, she also came to Chandigarh and Punjab. While in Punjab, she made an important announcement which should bring some relief to the unemployed youth in the state. She said that since Indian Oil Corporation was setting up a natural gas plant in BC, there would be about 1 Lakh job avenues that would open up. Since there are lots of Punjabis in that province, she would prefer skilled labour from here.

1 Lakh = 100,000 jobs.

There are plenty of other companies from all over Canada and some international in that region investing into real estate. This just happens to be a larger one and made the news for some reason.

I posted Christy's exact quote from an article in the Times of India (and the link to that source) when she was in the Punjab about mid-October. I am not interested in poring through the archives again in order to the find the article for you. Indeed it would not surprise me to learn that the article has been 'buried'....

Talking to mediapersons this morning, Clark said about 1 lakh jobs (1 lakh = 100,000) would be created in a liquefied natural gas (LNG) line project worth $36 billion in which the Indian Oil Corporation had invested $4 billion in her state.
The project would create numerous jobs for plumbers, electricians, welders, mechanics and even qualified engineers and others. "As a large number of Punjabis are already settled there, my state would like to take maximum skilled worker from Punjab and India because they will have no problem in adjusting there."
http://www.tribuneindia.com/2014/20141013/punjab.htm#23
"If we can help train 3,000 and 300 of them help us build an LNG industry, it's good for you and good for us," Clark is quoted as saying.
The NDP's Harry Bains does not see that offer as helpful to the 124,000 British Columbians who are currently unemployed.
"She will say anything that she thinks is what people want to hear," said Bains.

If one looks up the definition of "troll" in Websters........this post should be there as a classic example.
Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.
