Kelowna is one of the few places where most people aren't idjits. It seems that the only geniuses are the super rich (West Van, UBC area, Oak Bay area) and super religious (Kelowna, Abbotsford/Fraser Valley, Vanderhoof/Nechako Lakes).

Any guesses as to what the map above represents? Hint: It's not idjits, though you might think so depending on on your political opinion.

Yes, but what do the colours represent? The various shades are <55%, 55 to 60%, 60 to 65%, and 65%+, but how are idjits and geniuses defined? Kelowna is 53 to 56% genius while parts of Surrey and Vancouver are more than 72% idjit.

Some of the most right-wing ridings in BC are quite red (East Kootenays, Prince George, Peace River). Bill Bennett's riding of Kootenay East is over 60% idjit, which is similar in number to the 63% of people who voted for him. There is modest correlation with the idjits and political views, but only slightly. The genius ridings are Liberal, NDP, Independent, and Green. Perhaps so! Fortunately, we outsmarted them by creating no less than 76 separate threads about the HST, with none of them in the conspiracies section. Therefore, while the conspiracy threads were going hard at it over whether or no Jo is going to turn into an alien reptile, the rest of us were hashing out the HST day in and day out until Kelowna turned into a "green" city.
