Man Killed After Burnaby Standoff
RCMP say officers tried to negotiate with a man before he was shot dead by police in order to protect others in a home in Burnaby, B.C.
Mounties say police responded to a complaint around 7 a.m. Friday about shots fired in a house where at least one man had been fatally shot and the suspect was still inside.
Sgt. Annie Linteau said officers, including from the Vancouver Police Department, surrounded the home and police entered the two-level residence after negotiations with the man failed.
"Shots were fired, the circumstances of which are now under investigation,'' she said. "A male suspect was pronounced deceased at the scene.''
Linteau said police found the body of the initial victim inside the residence and that a tenant was safely removed from the home.
British Columbia's police watchdog is investigating the police-involved shooting.
The Independent Investigations Office said in an online statement that investigators are on the scene and that updates will be provided when information is available.

She had to include the police involved shooting, hense, the start of another cop bashing,(will hopefully go to an anti-Conservative, or maybe even Christy Clarke), hate on thread. Nothing to worry about.

I'm all for cop bashing, when they deserve to be bashed. This seems just like a bad situation that was destined to end badly. I really don't see what they did wrong here?
