Really strange how some time ago, cops were criticized for using tasers, bean-bags, etc instead of 'mixing it up' and getting physical with suspects - remembering the 'good old days' when cops 'rassled them to the ground'. Now when cops get physically involved they warrant a brutality award? Hmmm....

It doesn't matter where the woman took the video from or why she elected to record it in the first place. It is apparent that the officer used force to subdue the man and the investigation that was ordered by the Officer in Charge will determine whether the nature and extent of force used was excessive. I will await the results of the investigation before making any significant judgements about the actions of the arresting officer. Having said that, the fact is that any time the police have to use physical force to subdue and restrain someone, it is not pleasant for others to watch. That is a reality.

No it doesn't, those aren't even close. The fact you feel that a rapist is the same as an officer keeping poeple safe are the same things is troubling.
