Much as I really would like to believe that BC is first when it comes to fiscal responsibility, one has to remember that "beauty is often in the eye of the beholder" or, in this case, the measure of fiscal responsibility often depends on WHO is doing the measuring, and what kind of indicators they are using to make the decision.

The Fraser Institute, being a right wing think tank, will no doubt use very different indicators to arrive at their decision, than a more middle of the road or (heaven forbid) a left leaning group would.

Governments are elected to do more than just "balance the books" and, although fiscal responsibility is important, how that state should be achieved is open to debate. And whether Ms. Clark's government have followed the right path to achieve this particular end, is also open to debate.

ahh spoken like a true left wing loon Clark could have had even higher ratings had she cut all the gawd awefull fat at BC Hydro ICBC etc etc
