Re: An Alternative Party for BC?
If there is someone trying to be a new alternative Urbane....great. What people really do need to watch is when people who are very very pro NDP start telling people to "vote for this guy, or any guy as long as it's not the Liberals" gets into a problematic area.
The NDP know they can't roll out past accomplishments. They never put out a proper platform, and they often have far to many candidates saying really bad things for a campaign.
The new goal, don't try to get elected, try to create a new campaign that may allow you to sneak in. It's truly a reprehensible way to try to get elected, and a good indicator is when the people mentioning it are letting you know, you should vote for this new option. YOU, not them, you. that's your red flag.
I'd like to see a real option in BC and maybe these guys can try, but when I see people say "ya support these guys" that will never vote anything other than NDP......I get suspicious.

Just brainless. They aren't even trying to hide their union bias. How dense can you be??? Is there no one else out there to run for the NDP other than union bagmen and/or loony environuts? No one who doesn't represent a corrupt special interest group?

So jump on board and support the alternative being suggested in this thread. If you seriously want to turn away from the Christy Libs ,then that would be good choice for you.
you do your part and bring over the brain-washed NDP loons to ensure that no NDP government is ever elected again in this province, and its a deal. Otherwise, the risk of having to endure the pain and suffering that Alberta and Manitoba are going through now, and what BC had to endure in the 1990's (including the horrible back-room deal that Clark and Dix did with the BCTF and STILL hasn't been cleaned up) is just too great.

I think this is key. Splitting the vote on the left or the right (if you can call Christy's Liberals "right") accomplishes nothing to rid ourselves of two corrupt parties that aren't fit to govern. As Red Green would say, "We're all in this together."

Is Red Green a socialist?

thinking about before somebody came along and told
them they had to earn a living.

Not that I know of as Red Green actually fixes things instead of just breaking them.......that and he is a fictional character
