An "act of God " blamed

"Act of God" is an actual legal/liability term used by various transportation and insurance companies. Imaginary or not, it is a way out of accountability.

Act of God has not been used as an official insurance term in decades. Each "act" is one specificly named, defined, and generally excluded. the policy wordings now specifically excluded things like Avalanche, landslide earthquake and flood. For the later two you can now buy extensions but the first two you can not.

Last year a few insurance companies actually started to offer flood on homeowners policies, the kicker is if you are in a flood exposed area the cost is astronomical.

Act of God, like, Satan would never do anything bad. (Act of Satan doesn't sound like a good insurance seller)
Act of Climate.
Act of parliament,
Act of Physics, underwater methane,
Darth Vader or Black Helmet man.

Maybe it is all just an Act.
