LNG lawsuit

Without getting into the pros and cons of such projects (a whole different topic) does anyone know who actually pays the huge legal costs of such lawsuits including the cost of work stoppages on such projects if and when such lawsuits end up being unsuccessful in the courts?

best news i beard all day. since i grew up in that part the province i know first hand what a bad choice it was and im hoping lawsuit is succesful
